The Center for Other Worlds (COW) is an interdisciplinary research centre for design and art, based at Lusófona University and in association with DELLI –  the BA program – critically challenges the design discipline in profound transitions, exploring a variety of pedagogical models. The COW focuses on the development of perspectives that are not dominant nor imposed by the design discipline—through criticism, speculation and collaboration with various disciplines such as curating, architecture, visual arts, ecology and political theory.

Based in BAU, the Barcelona University Design Center, GREDITS (Design and Social Transformation Research Group) is formed by a multidisciplinary group of teachers from the Degree in Design and aims to create a collective research platform to analyze how social and technical changes affect the form, concept and function of art and design, and how contemporary designers and creators contribute to delineate them but also to put them in a critical perspective.
